Immunisation is a proven tool for controlling and eliminating life-threatening infectious diseases worldwide. It is estimated to prevent up to 3 million deaths each year and is considered to be one of the most successful and cost effective health investments. With the right strategies, even the hardest to reach and vulnerable populations can receive the benefits of immunisation.
