New report from the Pan American Health Organization highlights the contribution of nurses and midwives to women’s health

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has published a report detailing the contribution of nursing and midwifery to women’s health in the region.

The report, published in English, Spanish and Portuguese, highlights the initiatives and contributions of nurses and midwives in different professional settings, and the reality of women's health in the countries of the Region of the Americas.

It includes stories and case studies to illustrate the role of nursing and midwifery professionals in promoting universal access to health and universal health coverage, and their important contributions to health systems, universities and schools in the countries of the region.

The publication is open access and available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
