ICN information to support RCN consultation

The International Council of Nurses (ICN) is delighted that the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has started the process of consultation with its members regarding ICN membership. ICN is committed to providing information to assist RCN members decision making and will be participating in events to support the consultation over the next month.

In order to address your questions and concerns, we have developed a factsheet in response to RCN’s criteria and questions posed to ICN. We believe this provides further information on our global work and international relations, in particular with the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our governance and work with 130 National Nursing Associations from around the world.

If you wish to look at what we are doing more generally please go to the ICN website where you can access the breadth of our work including our COVID-19 Portal, Membership Benefits Brochure, FAQs on Membership, ICN’s Governance and Membership Engagement Processes, as well as browse the pages on our projects, policy work and campaigns.
