EURO Region Facilitator for GNLI 2024

Dr Barbieri-Figueiredo is a Portuguese Nurse, deputy director of the PhD in Nursing Science of University of Porto, Portugal and Senior Distinguished Researcher of University of Huelva, Spain. For most of her professional life, Dr Barbieri-Figueiredo has been an educator, both in undergraduate and post-graduate nursing education. Her research interests are related to Evidence-based Nursing and Knowledge Translation in Family Nursing, particularly in Families of Children with Chronic Diseases.

She is a founding member of International Family Nursing Association and received the 2023 Excellence in Family Nursing Award for the leadership of the Practice Committee of this association. She attended GNLI in 2016 and became a GNLI Regional Co-facilitator for the Euro Region in 2020.
