The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) provides a national voice for the profession of nursing – the largest registered health profession in Australia. We are the largest provider of postgraduate education for nurses, and we work to advance the standing, recognition and respect of our nurses nationally through policy, advocacy, education and leadership. 

Our mission is to ensure Australian nurses have access to educational, research, advocacy and leadership opportunities that will keep them highly skilled and at the cutting edge of health care delivery. We are here to support nurses by acknowledging a nurse’s education is an integral part of their lifelong learning.
