The practice of the profession was regulated in 1971, and the first Board of Directors was established.
From 1991-1999, the Statute Law was drafted and approved, with representation at a national level with Chapters and Associations.
Mission
We are a national trade union organisation that regulates the practice of the profession, protecting and responsibly defending the interests of its union members. It also seeks to protect the ethical and moral practice of the profession.
Vision
To be the highest representative body of nursing professionals of Honduras, with national and international recognition for its social commitment, service approach, responsibility, teamwork, professional competence and leadership, standing out for its ethical soundness and critical thinking.
