The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) is a national nursing association (NNA) and a representative organisation of nurses and nursing in South Africa.
DENOSA was established on 5 December 1996 after the amalgamation of former homelands nursing associations, to form one representative organisation for nurses in South Africa, replacing the role of the previously played by South African Nursing Association (SANA).
We are the biggest body that organizes nurses, with more than 82 000 members who work in various settings both in the public and private sectors.
