Kuwait Nursing Association (KNA)

Objectives

1. Striving to strengthen the nursing profession and raise its level socially and scientifically.
2. Working to preserve the member's rights in the field of the nursing profession.
3. Communication and coordination with the Nursing Department of the Ministry of Health and nursing education programs in Kuwait to consult on the foundations of the profession, its laws, and new theories in the world of the profession.
4. Working to organize and strengthen the ties between the members of the association, developing the spirit of cooperation, strengthening the ties between them socially, culturally, and athletically, and expressing an opinion regarding the disputes that arise between them or between citizens, and seeking to settle them.
5. Working to strengthen ties and strengthen scientific and professional cooperation between nurses in the State of Kuwait and their colleagues in Arab and foreign countries and the International Council of Nursing.
6. Consolidating links between nurses in the government system and the private sector.
7. Organizing scientific studies, lectures, cultural and social seminars and publishing them in a cultural magazine to introduce citizens to the nursing profession.
8. Exchanging visits with various Arab and foreign countries and participating in conferences related to nursing affairs to learn about modern scientific method.
