Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Association (MNA)

The Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Association is one of the oldest and largest non-governmental organizations in Myanmar, active since 1948. It is also known as a professional organization working for the nursing and midwifery profession and for the improvement of health services in the country. The association is also a member of the International Council of Nurses (ICN), which was registered in 1961. 

Mission

To support the achievement of universal healthcare and improve the health of the people of Myanmar by enhancing the skills of the unified nursing and midwifery workforce and raising the status of the nursing and midwifery professions.

To help nurses and midwives improve the health of the population by providing equitable, quality healthcare services without discrimination.
