New Zealand Nurses' Organisation (NZNO)

The New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) represents around 60,000 nurses and health workers and is the union and professional body for nurses in Aotearoa New Zealand.

NZNO's vision is "Freed to care, Proud to nurse". Our mission is our commitment to the representation of members and the promotion of nursing/midwifery. NZNO embraces te Tiriti o Waitangi and works to improve the health status of all peoples of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Under the banner of our Maranga Mai! campaign we seek to win the political and resourcing commitments needed to address the nursing shortage crisis in Aotearoa permanently across the whole health sector.
