Nurses Association of the Republic of Seychelles (NARS)

Founded in 1976 and registered in May 1977, the Nurses Association of the Republic of Seychelles (NARS)  in the second Health Professional Association formed in this country. As part of the world’s first and widest reaching international organisation for health professionals, the Nurses Association of the Republic of Seychelles is fully operated by nurses to ensure quality nursing care for all, sound health policies, advancement of nursing knowledge and safeguard the nursing workforce. The Nurses Association of Seychelles is the voice of nurses in Seychelles and represents a key force in providing leadership for nursing  care, incorporating it into nursing practice and policy. 

Mission

Ensure quality nursing care for the community of Seychelles through a competent, respected nursing profession, in partnership with other stakeholders and continue to maintain a unified nursing advocacy program for nurses in Seychelles.

Vision

The primary professional association advancing the development and welfare of all nurses and remains a strong voice for the nurses in Seychelles.
