Objectives
The Trinidad and Tobago Registered Nurses Association (TTRNA) is an independent, voluntary, non-political, non-governmental National Nursing Association. Its primary goal is to advocate for nursing professionals, nationally, regionally, and internationally.
We aspire to achieve this by fostering personal and professional development, whilst also facilitating, representation and the bargaining process. TTRNA’s endeavours relate primarily to matters related to health, Nursing, Midwifery and Trade Union matters.
TTRNA is not in and of itself a political body and the association is unbiased with regards to gender, social status, ethnicity, creed, colour or sexual orientation.
The purpose of the Association is to provide a self-governing, professional organization for Nurses, Midwives, Advanced Practice Nurse, Enrolled Nursing Assistants and Associates to function as a body for representations and negotiations related to professional and socio-economic matters.
