Survey supported by Pfizer sheds light on immunisation/vaccination in 18 countries

A key ICN priority is to have an impact on population health by improving immunisation rates against vaccine-preventable diseases and helping countries immunise more people with a greater range of vaccines.
It is believed that the integration of immunisation with other health and nursing interventions and the provision of support for full engagement of the nursing workforce is critical to achieving this priority.
With the generous support from Pfizer, ICN is been conducting a current state survey to 18 representative countries reflecting geography, as well as inclusion of immunisation/vaccination activities as part of the nursing role. The information obtained will be compiled into a report, and key learnings will be shared.
