Dr. Michelle Gunn

Project Rapporteur and Lead Consultant  

Michelle is the Group Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Burjeel Holdings and Lead Consultant for the ICN 'Definition of Nursing' project. Originally from Australia, her expertise spans nursing legislation, regulation, education, and research. She was a GNLI scholar in 2017 and has since played a lead role in the ICN WHA campaigns. She graduated with a first-class LLB and was the Queensland Supreme Court's number one rank holder when admitted to practice. Awarded the Louis Waller Medico Legal Scholarship, she completed a PhD focusing on resource allocation and clinical decision-making. Her contributions to nursing policy are distinguished, marking her as a leader in healthcare innovation and governance.
