Message from the candidate

Constant search that allows ICN through its global position to have a high level of representation in global spaces to debate situations related to health and the nursing profession, that strengthen the guidelines and strategies for access and equity in health for individuals, families and communities and that increase investment in nurses as a key factor in the social development of countries and health systems, improve regional and national decision-making on the nursing workforce. Strengthen the visibility of regional representatives or managers in order to increase their participation in the development of health and nursing policies through strategic alliances of nurse leaders representing Ministries of Health, universities and associations and colleges, which can generate greater recognition of the ICN's work at the regional and national level, as well as improving political advocacy in public policies and issues related to investment, leadership, employment, education, migration, research and the practice of nurses.

 

Participate in and support projects that ICN member countries present to the ICN, viability, coordinate effective and respectful communication with representatives of NNAs.

 

Promote organisational strengthening projects for member NNAs in order to empower organisations and seek self-sustainability for innovative national projects, cooperative training through successful experiences and sub-regional work, promote unity and a shared vision on health and human rights, gender and migration.

 

Establish cooperative links with civil society that contribute to making the profession and its contributions to health systems more visible.

 

Integration into the work of the board of directors with commitment and dedication in order to maintain the leadership, competence and authority that this institution currently possesses.

 

To be a link and voice between the ICN and the ANE members in the different needs that arise.

 

Support the strengthening of leadership in the region through the NSAs and other potential allies in the region.

 

Represent the ICN by delegation of the board of directors or at the request of member organisations and other strategic allies.
