Prof. Jill White

Project Director and Expert Group Chair 

Professor White is a Professor Emerita of the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sydney, and the Faculty of Health, University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Australia, and is now an independent consultant in the areas of health education, regulation, and policy.  

Jill was the inaugural Chair of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council, was a Fulbright Senior Scholar, and has worked extensively at a global level including at World Health Organisation and International Council of Nurses in Geneva. 

Jill was a Board member of the Nursing Now! Campaign 2018-2021 and is currently on the Nursing Now Challenge Board. Since 2022, Jill has been a Board member of the South-West Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and is currently Deputy Chair of that LHD.
